I'm super excited to be heading up the OUMS team as Pres this year! When not revelling in admin (apparently that’s weird oops), I play the oboe, sing at Keble (betraying Hertford, my actual college 🦌), and dabble in my music degree.

I’m a third-year studying History at Christ Church, and I play cello in OUO (and at college balls!). I'm really looking forward to working with Evie and the team, and there’s so much to get on with - both building on the great work that OUMS already does, and introducing exciting new initiatives. My defined remit covers sponsorships and external partnerships, so please do get in touch if you have ideas around those.

I’m a second year studying music at Lady Margaret Hall. I spend most of my time working as a composer, but I also sing and play the bassoon and piano for fun. I look forward to working closely with the rest of the committee to ensure all we do is well-organised and runs smoothly.

Hiya! I'm Henry, your Treasurer and I'm a second year at Pembroke. I am involved in all kinds of performance life, but my main love is composition and songwriting. Hi! I'm Blanche, a flautist and Classics student at Corpus Christi College. I'm thrilled to work with Erin as the Access and Outreach Officer for OUMS this year! I'm a second year musician at Somerville and one of OUMS' incoming Access & Outreach Officers. I play violin and clarinet in too many ensembles, and also viola and sax...! I'm very excited to be on the committee, and I am committed to making music in Oxford and the OUMS ensembles welcoming and accessible to all, regardless of their background.

I’m a second year Music student at Univ, and OUMS’ new Webmaster! I can mostly be found playing the piano, conducting, or singing in the Univ Choir, but occasionally appear in ensembles as a violinist, badly playing repertoire that far exceeds my limited talent. I’m so excited to get to work ensuring that the website remains the go to place for everything on music in Oxford!

Kilian Meißner is our Social Secretary, or rather -ial -etary, forming part of a formidable duo with Connie Horan. Having trained as a social sec in the muddy fields of OUO, Kilian is rearing to provide a host of exciting social events that benefit everyone on the high, high budget of £0.

Hi everyone! I’m Tommaso  and I’m a second year music student at Jesus. You can find me playing the horn in OUO and (too many) other ensembles but I also play the piano and do some conducting. I’m very excited to be on the OUMS committee and my role will be to promote chamber music across the university. I will try my best to facilitate the formation of new chamber music groups, provide some exciting performance opportunities, and promote the general music scene in Oxford!
