Hertford College Music Society is Oxford's friendliest and most active college music society. With three ensembles, we have got something for everyone - whether you are an instrumentalist interested in joining the Orchestra or Jazz Band; a singer who would like to join our Chapel Choir; or a musician looking to perform in our weekly evening recitals. All of our ensembles are open to members of all colleges and entirely non-auditioning, so anyone is welcome to come along and try! The society is run by a committee of Hertford students which is overseen by the Director of Music. Our ensembles also play for the Hertford Conducting Programme, which provides exciting opportunities to work with acclaimed professional conductors in a relaxed and low-pressured environment.
