Somerville Music Society is in charge of all student musical events in college. As well as being in charge of Somerville's music equipment and practice spaces, we organize a host of events throughout the year. This includes termly concerts and recitals, music soirees, and open mic and karaoke nights. As of last year, we also run a non-auditioned orchestra every week. We play a wide range of music and accept all instruments (including electric guitar!) and skill levels. We are always open to starting new ensembles or supporting students to organise their own events so if there is something you would like to see happen, get in touch!
